Philippa Parnevik suffered from skin cancer and underwent surgery at several places a couple of years ago. Skinplan's founder knew this and when SunControl was in process, she contacted Philippa to get her input. Since then, Philippa has been involved in the creative process.
Philippa, who has a degree in sustainable fashion and also works with it, has been involved in developing the bottle's design with the smart UVB meter. You just point the bottle at the sun and then the indicator shows how long you can stay in the sun.
