Samir Badran - I should have said no more often

Samir Badran visits Anis Don Demina's Youtube channel . He tells about his popular blog that he had between 2014 and 2016. "I was brutally cheated on money" says Samir "I had 160,000 readers and received 8,000 SEK per month. I could not even pay the rent."

Samir is the one of all Paradise Hotel participants who has succeeded best. Samir says that his father did not accept his participation in the program. For that reason, Samir wanted to prove that it is possible to succeed in the media. He had seen Paow's and Dessie's blogs and wanted to try blogging.

He never thrived in the spotlight. Especially when everything he did ended up in the news right away. Now it is much calmer but Samir has a feeling that the media is just waiting for him to make a fool of himself.

Many of Samir's participation in various programs was solely due to the fact that he could not say no because the payment was so high. There were many programs he did not want to participate in and he felt so tired in the end. "Damn I'm dying because I'm so tired but they give me 500 000 SEK. Shit, IÂŽll do it" describes Samir how he felt when it was at its worst.

When Anis asks what Samir would have done differently if he could have rewound the time 3 years, Samir answers "There are many times I would say no. Drink less alcohol. Say no to more stuff. More health and routine.”

Samir goes on to say, “For the first 5 years, I had no control over what I did. That®s what was bad. Had I started today, I would have been able to do this my whole life. But now that I've crashed, I can 't handle it.”

When it was at its worst in Samir's life, he could not go anywhere without being surrounded by a lot of people who wanted to take pictures and talk to him. Mothers pushed their frightened children forward and gasped "he is your biggest fan" and the children just "who is he" which made Samir angry when he thought it was the mother who wanted an autograph and meet Samir.

Anis says that he has been contacted several times by a TV company that wants to join him in Biggest Loser VIP and he has always refused.

Samir did received a request to join the Luxury Trap VIP (LyxfĂ€llan VIP) but declined. "As Paow did. Have you had money problems?” asks Anis. "But no," says Samir, who says that the TV company would set up the story as if it were to look like it. "I asked Paow and she said she only had an invoice of 5,000 SEK that she had forgotten to pay," says Anis.

Anis tells about when he and Samir and Viktor Frisk would be at the Melodifestivalen with the song Shuffla.

"That®s how I knew that Samir was not just another celebrity but that he was my f-cking brother," says Anis, who would not have been involved if Viktor had been allowed to decide. "He did not want to share the spotlight but you insisted as hell that I should be with you" says Anis to Samir who confirms "yes 100%. I thought you could fit in with us. Viktor was blond and Swedish and all the parents loved him. I was an Arab and hated by everyone because they thought I was evil.”

Anis Don Demina tells about Paradise Hotel and the production company who after a number of scandals has taken several actions.

  • Paradise Hotel changes itÂŽs name to Paradise.
  • All participants must be over 20 years old.
  • Couples do not need to be formed decisively on gender.
  • Broader compilation of participants in the cast.
  • No more requirements to be single to apply to the program.
  • Single beds in the rooms.
  • New filming location in Mexico.
  • New theme weeks that address other topics and dilemmas than before.

Take this from someone who pays the rent to react to reality series. Just stop this program,”says Anis.
