For me, it is important that my social channels feel like a safe place where no one should ever have to feel judged, and a common thread in my communication online has always been inclusion.
Therefore, I feel very honored about the award and proud that what I do on the internet has a positive impact on others.
Online hatred needs to be highlighted on so many different levels today - it is incredibly important and nothing we can ever, or should, accept as part of everyday life.

In addition to arousing a strong commitment to cyber-hatred, she also highlights several important and current topics.
In an innovative way, she reaches out to many and makes sure to create understanding - about daring to break society's norms, about power, discrimination and not least about the importance of increasing acceptance for LGBTQ people.
In 2021, it is unfortunately still needed. Therefore, we in the jury can all agree that what Tone is doing is incredibly important and, not least, an important contribution in the fight to counter hatred and threats online.
